Ezra 7:10; See One, Do One; Teach One!

Ezra 7:10 (KJV)  For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law 
of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and 

Ezra 7:10 (NIV)  For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and 
observance of the Law of the LORD, and to teaching its decrees and laws in 

Ezra 7:10 (NNAS)  For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of

In medical school during a rotation on surgery learning to do 
appendectomies we were taught "see one, do one, teach one" i.e. when you have 
been shown an appendectomy you do the next one and then after that 
teach the procedure to another.  I wonder if this concept developed 
from this or a related passage of Scripture.  They do have remarkable
