Philippians 4:4: STAY HAPPY!

Philippians 4:4 (NKJ): Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will 
say, rejoice!  

COMMENTARY PEARL

Stay Happy
   Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in 
Him]; again I say, Rejoice! Philippians 4:4 
   Everything God's Word says is very important, but when I see 
something repeated twice in the same sentence, I pay extra attention. Paul 
said two times, "Rejoice in the Lord. I believe joy is the fuel we 
need to stay strong. According to Nehemiah, the joy of the Lord is 
our strength (see Nehemiah 8:10). When Satan attacks us in any way, 
it is more an attack aimed at stealing our joy than anything else. 
Jesus died that we might have joy (see John 10:10), but Satan works to 
steal it. We can maintain an attitude of joy in all circumstances if 
we will focus on Jesus rather the problem. Even if you are going 
through something right now, you can rejoice that you are going through, 
and you will come out victorious. 
   Not all storms are in the forecast, but above the clouds the 
sun is always shining. 
   Speak this: I refuse to let the devil steal my joy. Jesus 
died so I could have it, and I will not give it up! [My Time with God
