Isaiah 43:2 - DELIVERANCE !

Isaiah 43:2 (NIV) When you pass through the
waters, I will be with you; and when you pass
through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be
burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

COMMENTARY PEARL

Youll get through this! You fear you
wont. We all do. We feel stuck, trapped, locked
in. Will we ever exit this pit? Yes!
Deliverance is to the Bible what jazz music is to Mardi
Gras: bold, brassy, and everywhere. Out of the
lions den for Daniel, the whales belly for
Jonah, and the prison for Paul.
Through the Red Sea onto dry ground.
Through the wilderness, through the valley of the
shadow of death. Through! Its a favorite word
of Gods. Isaiah 43:2 says, When you pass
through the waters, I will be with you when you
walk through the fire, you will not be
burned.
It wont be painless. Have you wept
your final tear, received your last round of
chemotherapy? Not necessarily. Does God guarantee the
absence of struggle? Not in this life. We see
Satans tricks and ploys, but God sees Satan tripped
and foiled. Youll get through this! [Max

COMMENTARY

Theres an expression that some people
use when the pressure gets tight and the
deadlines are close. They say, The heat is on.
   No one likes that feeling.
The Prophet Daniel had three friends who
truly experienced the heat being on them (Daniel
3).
In Daniel 3, when his friends wouldnt
bow in worship to a statue of King
Nebuchadnezzar, the king angrily had them tossed into a fire
and had the furnace heated seven times hotter
than usual.
   Literally, the heat was on.
But God walked with them through it:
Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in
amazement and asked his advisers, Werent there
three men that we tied up and threw into the
fire? They replied, Certainly, Your Majesty.
He said, Look! I see four men walking around
in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the
fourth looks like a son of the gods (Daniel
3:24-25 NIV).
Of course, you and I know it wasnt
a son of the gods in there with those guys.
It was Jesus - the only Son of God. He was
walking through the fire with them. And hell walk
through the fire with you, too.
Jesus tells us, And surely I am with
you always, to the very end of the age
(Matthew 28:20 NIV).
The Bible says youll never be alone.
God will always be there with you and for you.
When you pass through the waters, I
will be with you; and when you pass through the
rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk
through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames
will not set you ablaze (Isaiah 43:2 NIV).
The Bible doesnt say if you pass
through the waters; it says when you pass through
the waters.
You will have troubles. But Jesus will
always walk through them with you. [Daily

When everything around you is uncertain,
the key to stability is to focus on unchangeable
truth. In the days ahead, you need to focus on what
never changes: Gods character and Gods
Word.
Here are some unchangeable truths you
need to tell yourself during this time of
uncertainty.
   God sees everything youre going
through. The eyes of the LORD are on those who
fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing
love (Psalm 33:18 NIV).
God cares about everything youre going
through. But I will watch for the LORD; I will
wait confidently for God, who will save me. My
God will hear me (Micah 7:7 GNT).
God has the power to change what youre
going through. Ask, and you will be given what
you ask for. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and
the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7 TLB).
God always acts out of his goodness to
you. And we know that in all things God works
for the good of those who love him, who have
been called according to his purpose (Romans
8:28 NIV).
God's plan is always better than your
plan. For I know the plans I have for
you, says the LORD. They are plans for good
and not for disaster, to give you a future and a
hope (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT).
God will never stop loving you. For
the mountains may move and the hills disappear,
but even then my faithful love for you will
remain (Isaiah 54:10 NLT)
No matter what you go through, God is
with you. "When you go through deep waters and
great trouble, I will be with you. When you go
through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown!
When you walk through the fire of oppression, you
will not be burned up - the flames will not
consume you" (Isaiah 43:2).
To replace your panic with prayer, your
worry with worship, and your anxiety with
adoration, focus less on what social media is saying
and more on Gods unchanging truth. [Daily
