1 Chr 22:19a (KJV)  Now set your heart and your soul to seek the 
LORD your God;

Deut. 4:29 (KJV)  But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord

David admonished Solomon to trust the Lord and obey Him;

David was most concerned about Solomon's personal rather than 
public commitment to God. Solomon had to be devoted to the LORD and 
obedient, or his accomplishments would be meaningless...... all would be empty

just as He had given Moses the plans for the tabernacle (Ex. 25:40).
